BuildSpark provides professional electrical services including but not limited to:
- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

All work is carried out in accordance with current UK electrical regulations and industry best practices.
Bookings and Appointments
Appointments may be arranged through:

- Telephone
- Online booking platforms
Customers are responsible for ensuring that accurate information is provided when booking.
We reserve the right to amend appointment times where necessary due to emergencies, traffic conditions, weather conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Minimum Charges and Hourly Rates
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- A minimum charge applies for the first hour of attendance.
- Additional labour is charged in 30-minute increments.
- Materials supplied are charged separately.
- Fixed-price quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
All prices are inclusive of labour unless otherwise specified.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Customers should provide at least 6 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
BuildSpark reserves the right to charge for missed appointments, late cancellations, or situations where access to the property cannot be gained.
EICR Certificates and Testing
The fee for an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) covers the inspection and testing process regardless of whether the installation receives a satisfactory or unsatisfactory result.
Where remedial works are required:
- A quotation may be provided.
- If BuildSpark completes the remedial works, certification may be issued following successful completion.
- If another contractor undertakes remedial works, additional charges may apply for reinspection and certification.
Payments
Payment is due immediately upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank Transfer
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
- Stripe Payments
- Cash
Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
Warranty
BuildSpark provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on electrical repairs and installations.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse
- Customer modifications
- Third-party interference
- Water ingress
- Pest damage
- General wear and tear
- Manufacturer defects
Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms.
Limitation of Liability
BuildSpark maintains Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance where applicable.
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the services supplied.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or economic losses arising from our services.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
